The Farmer’s Market opened in my town on Friday and I bought this single stalk of pink peonies. Along with the flowers came some timely advice. “Dip the peonies in cold water as soon as you get home and the little ants will come out.”
Good to know!
Also, she said that ants are the reason the peony flowers open.
Can that be true?
I’ll look into it but, honestly, living in the world of the last pink peonies is a joy.
