If you “google” yellow tulips you’ll find many, many lovely images. I was going to try to contribute a similar image along the lines of Andrew Zuckerman’s wondrous solitary flower portraits viewed here.
So, I grew these parrot tulips from bulbs planted last fall purchased from White Flower Farm. They bloomed late this year like everything else. I cut one and brought it into my studio and then promptly and utterly fell in love less with their unique bloom and more with their elegant green stems.
