I met Helen at the YMCA years ago. She was a daily goer as was I but there was one big difference, she knew everyone’s name, their spouses, their children’s names, what schools they went to. She was very gregarious.
I, on the other hand, listened to my podcasts and circled the indoor track in silence. But, it was always fun to drop the earbuds and talk with Helen as we circled our way to health and happiness.
I wondered how she was doing with this “lockdown” and the inability to socialize. So, I asked her. Meet Helen. Married 54 years to her Prince Charming. (And, he is charming, too!)
