For God’s Sake. Does Fox news spend any time encouraging their viewers to get vaccinated or is all of it on the civil rights of their burned Xmas tree? I don’t have cable but I do get news alerts that seem fixated on their tree and not the health of their viewers.
If you believe in facts, you might notice that the unvaccinated are causing hospital overloads that in some states are requiring the National Guard to be called in to assist in the day-to-day operation of these facilities.
I would think Fox would be at least be concerned financially, if not for humanitarian reasons. The more unvaccinated get sick and, worse, die, the fewer TV’s are tuned in to Planet Fox and the fewer advertiser products are purchased.
PS. The Governor of Massachusetts just had to make a statement that the “concerning” rising numbers in Mass do not YET constitute a need for Field Hospitals. But, they are watching the daily numbers like the rest of us.
And, he, unlike other Republican Governors I could mention but won’t, has done an excellent job of dealing realistically with this pandemic in Mass.
Others suggest if we want to know what our future is with respect to Delta, Omnicron, we should look at Britain as it is 6 weeks ahead of us in noticing the increase in numbers and identifying Omnicron. They are currently expecting “new” COVID rules for the holidays as their numbers are exploding but no one seems to feel the population is going to go along with them this time because of “issues” with credibility within the government of “saying” one thing to the citizens and then “doing” the opposite within their own inner circles.
I listen to a morning show via BritBox called Good Morning Britain and Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in serious trouble (once again so I don’t know how “serious” it will be) for saying one thing and the truth is the other. Anyway, they had on John Berkow who used to be the head parliamentarian trying to keep all the shouting members within the Parliament in a civilized order. He was famous for how he called for “order”. More like a screech, “Or-DAAAAH!” He said this sentence in summing up the toxicity of Johnson showing he has a way with other words as well.
Here are a few highlights of John Bercow’s HUMOR as Speaker in the House of Parliament.
