There is very little left about winter that I am enjoying except driving home at twilight.

I hated the winters when I lived in North America as well, but lately here in Oz it’s been so very hot that I’d gladly trade you a few of your cold days for some of our hot ones.
As Tripitaka from the Japanese TV show, “Monkey magic”, would say, “without evil there would be no good”.
What a cool picture. I live in Arizona now, but I grew up in Illinois. Twilight isn’t the same here. One of the things I do miss about winters is what I thought of as Blue Time as a kid (still do, really). I loved twilight when there was snow on the ground. The blue was so much more intense.
Razz, How do we go about this trade? I’m definitely willing. Have never heard of Tripitaka! Do they show Japanese TV shows down under? Or , is it a youtube phenomenon? I just came back from sunrise in Winter photos so will have to include sunrise along with twilight. Honestly, the sky this morning was stupefyingly beautiful.
Christa, Welcome and I love that you called twilight ‘Blue Time” as a kid in Illinois and now still as a adult! I think I’m going to call it that for now on! I wonder why there’s not as much blue in Arizona light? Maybe someone who reads this blog might know?? Anyway, thanks for taking the time to comment!
I don’t know about how to make the trade happene, but I’d sure like to know how. Gosh it’s hot here. I’ve just had a bunch of friends over for a dinner and it was so hot that the red wine went straight to my head.
I grew up with Japanese TV shows. My favourites were “Shintaro” (he was a samurai with a ninja friend called Tombe Mist), “Phanton Agents” (sort of modern day spies crossed with ninjas) and of course, “Astro Boy” (known as Mighty Atom in Japan)
