It’s Sunday and thunderstorm and flash flood warnings are on the radar. I enter another world with my camera.
No droning certitudes of opinions passing through my airwaves here, only the faraway concussion of thunder and irritated bees dive bombing my lens.
Get out of here. I hear you. I’ll leave you to your wonders. In a minute.
I talk back.
They arrest me.
Sigh.

Who arrested you, the bees or the flowers? Both pretty arresting, I’d say, each in their own way. Such beautiful colors, the intense pinks of the flowers against that subdued green of a rainy day. Lovely.
You know, Don, I just am totally gobsmacked by gardens and the inner world of them. I love when someone else enjoys it, too!
has it stopped raining yet? been a sort of mild summer here too. these are so dainty like baby’s breath.
Overcast today but humid. There have been about five days that have felt like summer. This is one of them!! But the temps and overcast are great for flower photography!!
PS
donald, you never comment on my stuff. I must suck. lol.
‘Scuse me…Scuse me…” Renee don’t be quiltin’ my readers!! Nor put in anyone’s hands or eyes or comments whether you suck or not. Carry on.
Wow, beautiful shot. What was the aperture on this?
Hey, Mt. Brooks! It’s 1.2 aperture. Was also windy. Nice combo as long as you can get something in focus!
You have a 1.2 lens? WOW. I like that you chose to focus on one of the less full blooms. Very sweet.
