Santa’s neck is hurting tonight, folks.
He got a lot of love from the local senior center regulars at their Christmas party this morning and I was the photographer.
What my lens revealed to me in looking at the images later on in the day is that the old man with the beard still has it goin’ on.
No matter what age we are, we don’t ever grow up and, if we are too old to sit on his lap, we can put him in a headlock showing him pure sweet Santa love as one woman did (not this one) bending Santa over like a sapling after a blizzard.
Or, as was the case with this woman in the picture, some may know he’s got a Christmas wish list, too–and they’ll pull him down in a gentle tug and whisper in his ear the secrets of a long life.
This woman, sweet Lillian, is 102.

That Santa sure has a genuine twinkle in his eye, and it looks like she is whispering sweet nothings in his ear. Good for her! A great picture that yells a story.
Don, I just ran into Santa in town in his street clothes. He still looks like Santa.
I think you’ve caught an image of the real Santa. He has such a beautiful countenance; on so many levels.
Lillian looks great for her age and it’s nice to see she still has her wits about her. How is Lillian’s mobility?
Razz, I didn’t see Lillian anywhere but at the table so can’t tell you for sure. This Santa comes with Mrs. Claus, too! They both look so real!
I agree with the others. he makes a pretty jolly Santa.
Renee, his Santa suit has a tie in the back where you can see his white undershirt!
102??? She looks fabulous.
Pat, I just found out it’s ONLY 101. This photo was in the local paper and her fans have gone wild.
I like the other Santa, behind Lillian.
Al, I liked him, too! I took several photographs of him. One of which is in the slide show I made of the event that can be viewed here. It’s the back of his Elf hat that made the cut.
