Back Problems and Flower Photography

What a man needs in gardening is a cast-iron back, with a hinge in it.

Charles Dudley Warren

I don’t have a cast-iron back with a hinge in it. What I have is a back with an ice pack around it.  Gardening is impossible.  Photographing my garden is impossible.  But, I figured out a way to photograph my flowers without bending over! My neighbor put my lightbox on a table and I took apart a lily.  Then, I arranged it like it was blowing in the wind and used my lightest lens, 50mm, to photograph it.  Creativity doesn’t have a back problem. EVER.

But, photographers do.   Sigh.
