A year ago when I was photographing these bearded irises in the center of my cul-de-sac, my back went out and for the next few months I cursed them daily.
This season before I went out with my camera, I did my back exercises that have brought me back over the past year, and after I finished photographing them, I did another set just to be sure.
The best composition for learning textures has some white/neutral color space so this required that I bend down, almost so the camera was ground level.
Hurrah. I lived to tell the tale as well as texture the photograph.
