There is an upside to back problems that tether you to your home and make you carry a $100 dollar cushion (I had bought it for my mother’s wheelchair years ago) wherever you go in the house. If you are a photographer AND can find a comfortable sitting position in front of your computer, you can work on images you’ve neglected for one reason or another.
Who knew a cockscomb flower was actually an ice cream cone?
The scans below are what I started with. This image started with just looking at this odd flower that is usually found in a bouquet of other flowers. I looked at it for a long time. There is something creepy about it. It’s fuzzy to touch. Then, I thought, “Well, this stem looks like an ice cream cone.” I see food like that boy in the movie saw dead people Then, Nik filters and Photoshop did the rest.
