Morning Blues

moonrising

The benefits of taking photographs in your pajamas:

1.  You get to see the moon set at the same time the sun rises.

2.  You feel like Julian Schnabel.

3.  If you wake up with the blues, you can beat them over the head with a few wisps of clouds.

There’s only one disadvantage of photographing in your pajamas.

1. You can’t go to the coffee shop afterwards.  Well, you could.  But, your blue flannel striped bottoms hanging beneath your winter coat makes you feel like the party is over.

    1. Tysdaddy, Have not had the courage to watch that movie, but I’ve seen his others. He was interviewed on Sixty Minutes last week and sounded like an ass!
O, well. Some of his early paintings…like the plates, I have really loved. But, some of his other things not so much. I actually think his real talent is movie making! But, don’t tell him that! He gets mad.

  1. Lovely- this moon shot. What I like is the way the moon becomes the universal common denominator in that we all get to see the same thing but our own particular versions of it.

Schnabel comment- I thought the same thing.
Remember the other guy who made pajamas a public statement- I think it was Lucky Luciano or one of those guys.

  2. Funky jammies *grins* I love how you have captured the moon towards the bottom of the photo with the wift of cloud going upwards… it could actually be tina turners new hair do, the moon her head! yeah thats it!

    1. SANITY! You’re back visiting! I’ve missed you! Same ol, same ol, here. Just trying to focus on what’s around me. And, then, when that doesn’t work. I just make stuff up!

  3. Aye I worked my way through unread 300 posts yesterday and found myself thinking whoa perhaps it’s time to unsubscribe to a few! (seem to be a hoarder of RSS feeds!)

Going to try your method from now on, I used to do it then I don’t know what happened… I miss my funny bone the most, sanity was never present so thats ok hmph!

  4. I know what you mean about those RSS feeds. It’s fine if it is just a few but when it’s more than that and they are daily bloggers like me…well, it mounts up and then it’s a pain in the neck!! We’re awaiting a big storm. Was just in the cemetery shooting what I saw as the perfect winter approaching shot. We’ll see. Sometimes what is my eye and what is in the camera are two different visions!
