The road was open. The snow melted by the pond’s edge and the sun was going down.
The Queen Anne’s Lace were in my viewfinder in a matter of seconds. Still standing. Well, some of them. Some broken off, missing their bud and I presume future, but this is what survival looks like. We may not have all we had before but our strength is endurance and we look good in the right lighting.
Now, who of us can not relate to that?
I want names.

Lovely photo. I absolutely adore it.
So this proves that all we need to survive is an ace photographer who can make us look as willowy and staunchly proud as these slender shoots.
Do YOU have any names?!!!
It must really be true that it’s better to look good than to feel good.
Love the allegorical reference.
S. Le, I love these damn things!! Seriously, when I can have access to them, I could post a photograph a day but Razz would never come back to my site!
Bonnie, Oh, I’m glad you showed this photo some love! They give me hope in the most basic way. And, I must say that sometimes looking good can lead to feeling good which makes me think I’d better change the lighting in my condo. Recessed, dewy bulbs, please.
