Saturday in the EMC parking lot reveals the winter we had.
Salt deposits are now visible in the 60 degree temperatures. I expected a guard or someone to come out and demand to know what I was doing.
(Two weeks ago, a policeman called after someone wrote down my license plate number thinking I was taking her photograph!)
I’m going to keep some samples in my car so, if questioned, I can show them I try to make art of unconventional material.
I’ll make this into a postcard and tell them it’s a photograph of waves breaking in a parking lot of volcanic sand.
That ought to reassure them that I’m a photographer and not a stalker, right?
