I have the pleasure to introduce you to my very favorite niece, Alice, who is a First Grade teacher at a Catholic School in Washington, DC. I wanted to interview her about what it was like for her, her students, and parents when their school, like so many, had to suddenly shut down and go to “virtual” classrooms.
Even though I was in constant contact with her during this period, I learned some things during this interview that make me think teachers, students, and parents may be the unsung heroes of this pandemic.
Meet Alice. Click the white arrow in lower left below to listen.
